Toolbars for Internet Explorer and Firefox

A large regional portal needed to provide toolbar facility to its regular visitors to access news and other content updates on their desktop without visiting the website each time.

Situation
Though the web portal had already the facility for RSS subscription, there were not many takers. The stakeholders were contemplating other means to provide more integrated facility for the users and their large member-base.

Solutions
We created toolbars on Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. The toolbars were intended to be used by the users and members of web portal for their diverse requirements.

The variation of implementing technologies required the creation of separate toolbars for two browsers.

Results
This facility has enabled the users to access content and applications quickly and effectively. They are now able to manage their logins and content access settings from within the toolbar.
